What we collect

• Account data: email, hashed password, display name, language preference, optional 2FA.
• Your content: notes, timeline, symptoms, doctor questions, uploaded documents, members of your "care circles". May include health-related data of the person you assist (special category under art. 9 GDPR).
• Technical data: IP address, user-agent, session timestamps, audit logs.
• Push tokens (only when notifications are explicitly enabled).

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't run advertising profiling.
• We don't embed third-party analytics or trackers.

Your rights

You can exercise the rights granted by GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, consent withdrawal) at any time. Most of them are available directly inside the Account section of the app. For specific requests emailsupport@accanto.care. You may also file a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

Sub-processors

• IONOS Cloud (Germany, EU) — hosting and database.
• Expo / 650 Industries (US) — push notification delivery.
• Apple APNs (US), Google FCM (US) — push delivery on iOS/Android.
• App Store and Play Store — app distribution.

Transfers outside the EU rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
