Scope

Accanto is a digital tool to organize information, notes, documents and tasks related to caring for a family member. It is shared within "care circles" with the members you invite. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis or clinical advice.

Account

• You must provide a valid email and password to use the service.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe; we recommend enabling TOTP 2FA.
• You must be at least 16 years old (younger users need a parent/guardian's consent).

User content

Everything you enter in Accanto remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store, process and display it strictly to operate the service. You are responsible for the content you provide and, in particular, for being entitled to process third-party data (e.g. the person you assist) under applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt to compromise the service's security, scrape it in bulk, impersonate other users, or use it for unlawful activities.

Pricing

Accanto is currently free during the launch phase. Any future paid tier will be communicated in advance and governed by dedicated commercial terms.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Account section of the app. Your data is erased from active systems within 30 days and from cyclic backups within an additional 60 days, as described in the Privacy notice.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as-is" and "as-available". To the extent permitted by law we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Medical disclaimer

Accanto is not a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and does not replace professional medical advice. In case of emergency call 112 (EU) or your local emergency number.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rome, Italy, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
